This is the first SINGLE from my seventh official album release, "Psychotronic Bagpipe-Spiked Tartan Phalanx of Utter Devastation" ...available on October 1, 2015.. Yes that IS the real title. You heard it here first.

A rainy day song inspired by The Violent Femmes... I suppose...

Anyhow, I have never been afraid of a rainy day... and so this song reflects that, even though the summer of 2015 had very very few of these.

Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains

It's just something I like to do
Rinse away my sad memories... of you
Would you care to walk a mile
In these shoes
One size fits all
You've got everything to lose

Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains
Summer Rains

I don't understand
I don't want to know
Why you tore out my heart
And decided to go
There was no reason
No explanation at all
Sitting in this train station
Waiting for your call

The sweat from my brow
It stings my eyes
Brings into focus
This world of lies
Once long ago we kissed
In summer rains
But now in the gutter
There goes my heart full of pain

Full of pain
Full of pain
Full of pain
Full of pain
